International sales of all corn exports by country totalled US$36.5 billion in 2020.

Also known as maize, the value of globally exported corn rose by an average of 24.6% for all exporting countries since 2016 when corn shipments were valued at $29.3 billion.

Year over year, the value of corn exports expanded by 2% from 2019 to 2020.

The 5 biggest exporters (United States, Argentina, Brazil, Ukraine, France) generated over three-quarters (76.9%) of total international sales in 2020.

Below are the 15 countries that exported the highest dollar value worth of corn during 2020.

1. United States: US$9.6 billion (26.2% of total corn exports)

2. Argentina: $6.1 billion (16.6%)

3. Brazil: $5.9 billion (16%)

4. Ukraine: $4.9 billion (13.4%)

5. France: $1.7 billion (4.7%)

6. Romania: $1.2 billion (3.4%)

7. Hungary: $1 billion (2.8%)

8. Serbia: $644.6 million (1.8%)

9. South Africa: $564.6 million (1.5%)

10. Bulgaria: $497.5 million (1.4%)

11. Russia: $395.2 million (1.1%)

14. Russia: $262.5 million (down -48.4%)
