28 years ago Ducati launched its first-ever Monster and its timeless and iconic style changed the fortune for Ducati. Monster 2021 is its 4th generation and Ducati decided to enter a new era with a completely new look of the Monster.

The Seductive Design

The biggest change in the new Monster is that it has become smaller, sleeker, and has muscular lines that flow all the way to the rear. It has also lost 18 kgs. Monster has entered a new chapter with its muscular fuel tank, narrow seats which widens towards the rear.

Its iconic headlamp shape is maintained but with a slightly modern twist. Now it gets LED headlamps.

Power

The engine is now 2.6 kgs lighter yet manages to pack a 937cc Testastretta L-twin engine, which is the same as the Multistrada 950 S and SuperSport 950. The ride is smooth and controlled at low rpm, for a prompt response in city traffic, which gives unrivaled riding pleasure in cities.

Safety Features

A road bike as modern as Monster deserves a first-rate electronics kit. The standard equipment includes fully adjustable ABS Cornering, Traction Control, and Wheelie Control.

The new Monster’s sporty nature is also underlined by the Launch Control, which ensures lightning-fast starts: out-of-the-ordinary features usually reserved to supersport motorcycles are now available in Ducati Monster for city fun.

Price

It is priced at 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and 11.09 lakh (ex-showroom) for Monster +. With 10 grand extra Monster+ model gets a flyscreen and passenger seat cover.
