A panic attack has been described as an episode of incredibly intense fear or apprehension. Panic attacks are usually accompanied by symptoms that affect the person's body and thinking. Over the years many programs have been introduced to fight these responses. One such program has been proven to be highly effective. The program was created by Joe Barry, a former sufferer of panic attacks. Panic away has helped thousands overcome attacks though the years and it continues to do so to this very day.

Can You Recognize the Symptoms?

Symptoms of a panic attack are racing as though you can't get enough air. This lack of air terror brings on a feeling of dread dizziness, lightheadedness or nausea, trembling, sweating, shaking, choking, chest pains, distress fears, fright, afraid, anxious hot flashes, or sudden chills, with tingling in fingers or toes. These symptoms bring on a fear that you're going to go crazy or about to die.

Fearful Thoughts

Fear of the surrounding public places and enclosed space confinement or restriction of movement conflicts with an expression of danger or anger. Fearful thoughts ...
... could contribute to fainting or collapsing in public, combine that with developing severe physical symptoms and losing control and you have a very dangerous situation. Becoming confused or being unable to cope with dying leads to causing a scene, or having a heart attack or other physical illness. Fearful thoughts continue to control these individuals, and have restricted their lifestyle. We must note that fear intensifies when we pull away from it. Fear though not all negative, helps us to act against potential dangers, and to avoid dangerous things. In its innate and sublime form fear is there to protect us.

Remedies to Help Our Health

The ability to relax your body and calm your mind is necessary for health and well-being, although many experts feel that panic anxiety disorder affects emotionally healthy people. If no physical illness is found, you may be referred to a psychiatrist or psychologist, or other mental health professionals who are specially trained to diagnose and treat mental illnesses. Everyone worries now and then and that's healthy. In exposure therapy for panic disorder, you are exposed to the physical sensations of panic in a safe and controlled environment, giving you the opportunity to learn healthier ways of coping.
