According to Ayurveda, the root or underlying cause of piles(hemorrhoids)is a result of an imbalance of Vata or air. This vitiation has several causes due to lifestyle habits and individual traits such as irregular eating and sleeping patterns, long periods of sitting, pregnancy and/or obesity, constipation, overindulgence in intercourse, suppressing natural urges, lack of exercise, excessive physical strain, consuming acidic, non-vegetarian food, alcohol, cold, heavy, uncooked or spicy foods, stress, and anxiety. Gomutra is key in treating dosha imbalances, reducing swelling and inflammation, regulating digestion, and ridding the body of toxins while relieving stress.

Ayurvedic Piles Treatment

Triphala is one of the ayurvedic Piles treatment. It literally means “three fruits,” which are harad, amla, and baheda. This combination is an excellent remedy for piles as it naturally balances the three doshas. Amla is responsible for regulating pitta or controlling acidity while containing the highest amount of vitamin C out of all fruits. Vitamin C is an antioxidant responsible for eliminating free ...
... radicals and detoxifying the body. Baheda is used to treat piles, loss of appetite, gas, and bloating and pacifies all three doshas, particularly Kapha which helps eliminate mucus and constipation.

Harad is well known to treat piles by regulating digestion and preventing constipation which are the leading causes of piles. Finally, Kalmi Shora is used to shrink the piles.

Precautions: Avoid usage during pregnancy. Always consult your doctor before taking any medicine or supplement. Do not take within 1 hour of consuming milk.

*VitaGreen is to be taken as juice orally as well as used as an enema to cleanse bowls of waste build-up and toxins.

Juice: Prepare juice according to package directions, using lukewarm water and honey for sweetener. Consume on empty stomach in the morning and evening. Ginger juice can be added if there is a lack of appetite and digestion is low. In the case of acidity, add aloe vera juice.
