Every sport has its different benefits and playing badminton has many advantages in itself. We can learn a lot from a sport. As we can strengthen our muscles and bones, remain physically fit, increase stamina and also be mentally fit. But badminton is a sport which has many more benefits rather than any other sport. If you are a badminton player then you must be knowing the basics of the game and if you are not then do not worry here are some of the basic benefits we have listed down:
1. Fewer injuries
You need not take stress while beginning the game. The player does not have to be perfect at the start as the gameplay is decided and determined by the level of players. As per this, the badminton players have fewer chances of injury in comparison with other sportspersons. This defines that you can play badminton on a regular basis without facing any injury and it also saves your time.
2. Fewer numbers of players
If you have knowledge about sports then you also might be known that there are such sport out there which requires more than 5 players in a team like a football, hockey, cricket, and many others ...
... and sometimes it becomes quite difficult for the match organizer to find the number of players to play a match in an adequate time period. On the other hand in badminton, you need a minimum of two players to play a game.
3. Badminton is an indoor sport
As we all know that the sports are categorized into two forms: indoor and outdoor
Badminton is an indoor game and that's the reason it is the second popular game liked and played by the people in India. Playing badminton outdoor is very difficult because of the wind and breeze can cause the shuttlecock move in a wrong direction and that can cause a lot of problem for the player in the game and also when it rains the court becomes wet and have more chances of injuries. so to prevent all these problems, this game is basically played indoors.
4. Badminton is not an expensive sport
To play you just need an ideal racket, shuttlecock, and a badminton court. The beginners can find a simple racket and a shuttlecock which you can easily get nearby sports shop or else in the market these are easily available everywhere. The professional rackets and shuttles are quite expensive sometimes you can only get them by order. Where else the other main thing is you need badminton court as for that there are many clubs and institutions where you can play and learn at very fewer fees.
5. Popularity of the game
After cricket badminton is the second most popular game watched and played in India. You can find badminton players all over the country and there are also many institutions opened especially in the big cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and many others. And after the upcoming of the players with their milestones such as P.V Sindhu and Saina Nehwal, it made the game more popular and it also generated the interest of the peoples towards the game.

So if you are planning to pick up a sport then badminton will be the best option as you need not spend much on this sport and can be learned easily and you also need not work much harder than the players do in other games. and there is no age limit in this game a kid and even an elder can play it easily.
