The Future of EdTech – During the COVID-19 pandemic, much of the education world shifted online. Schools were offering online classes, students were looking for online tutoring services, and new educational technologies were being developed. At COVID we created an online lab environment where students and advisors can work on research and experiments without leaving their local community. Through the Future of EdTech, we hope to solve one of the biggest problems with research – access to a lab – by connecting students anywhere to advisors who can help them conduct hands-on science experiments. In the Future of EdTech, education was heavily impacted by COVID. Schools started offering online classes and students had more access to what they needed for their education. In addition, there were technologies developed to help contribute towards this shift in technology. The Future of EdTech is a new company that develops software to bridge this gap. Their EdTech application allows research groups to communicate remotely with each other on student work, tests, and project completion. Their cloud-based applications are revolutionizing how education information flows.
