This originally Tibetan dish has secured a very special place in the south Asian culture. They are made with soft dough, with a filling of veggies, meat, and certain spices in them. These momos are then either heated to give us a steamed version or they are fried to give us the nice, crispy momos that don’t just feel good for the soul, they also feel good to the taste buds. These soul-fulling dumplings have really become a favourite amongst people of all age groups.

It also has some powder sprinkled over it along with a great blend of herbal spices of Nepal. Then, according to the kind of momos you want to have, you can marinate them. It requires a different kin of marination with fried momos and a different kind of marination with tandoori momos as well. Both kinds of momos are served with a bowlful of mayonnaise and schezwan sauce.
One very interesting thing to note is how every community and state in India has made momos their own and have added their own touch and flavour to it. the powder they make, the mixture that they blend and even the way the flour of the dough that the dumpling is kneaded in determines the success of the momos. The makers can add their own types of spices and vegetable combination. It is all about the stuffing filled inside the momos. You do not always need to have veggies in it. There can even be stuffing of meat, both red and white, or of sea food in the recipe. Each can adjust whatever they want in it, according to their liking and their taste.
But one can’t always be going out to have their momos, right? What if you feel hungry in the middle of the night and are craving for some momos? You can order momos online for it. By that we mean not just the usual food delivery, but actually ordering frozen momos from the online grocery store.
