1. Emphasize your entire attention on the text provided in the passage only. Don’t refer to prior knowledge while answering the test questions.
2. As much as possible, answer the questions serially. Skipping questions will just distract you causing more mistakes. There are reasons why a verbal reasoning test is designed in such an order and hence it would be better to rigorously adhere to it.
3. Be extra mindful with synonyms. Words which appear to have the same definition are frequently used to baffle test candidates.
Nonetheless, you can prevent from committing such mistake by realizing the words, sentences, and phrases through their contextual meaning.
4. Never make assumptions or postulations. An inductive test is designed to ascertain your concentration level and also your tendency to believe in ambiguity.
5. Don’t spend much time on one question. Calculate how many minutes you should spend in every question. You can calculate this by dividing the total number of questions by the allocated time for the exam.
