Quebec Invites 502 Candidates For Its Permanent Selections Through Arrima Draw
On August 19, 2021, the immigration department of Quebec invited 502 candidates to produce their applications for permanent selections through its Skilled Worker Program. Quebec requires candidates to register their Expressions of Interest on its government’s Arrima platform. An EOI allows the Quebec province to choose from people who are keen on immigrating to it and invite those candidates to file their applications.

Canada’s British Columbia province invited more than 435 candidates for immigration through multiple PNP draws in the third week of August. Since February 2021, BC has been holding two separate invitation rounds for its Provincial Nominee Program monthly. BC holds a general immigration draw and another draw targeting wholesale and retail business managers and foodservice business managers.

Candidates in the EEBC and Skills Immigration streams of BC’s immigration program got invitations in that general draw. BC issued invitations to people from the International Graduate, Skilled Worker, plus Semi-Skilled and Entry Level subcategories of EEBC and SI streams. There were scores for the draw that ranged from 73 to 91 points at the least. Up to 363 candidates got invited.
