4. You may also apply the extract of lemon balm to reduce the affect of fever blisters. This remedy is also effective in the process of healing.

5. Application of Vaseline is also very effective in reducing the problem of fever blisters. It also helps to soft the blisters by moisturizing it. It prevents from bleeding and cracking of the sores.

6. Application of Witch Hazel on sores is effective for reducing the problem of fever blisters.
