It is no secret that it is an especially trying task to find the right home for you. When you are searching countless listings and working with numerous real estate professionals, it can be exhausting and, more often than not, deterring. You can find homes that are nearly perfect for you, but missing especially important aspects.
One location that has a great selection of quality homes is the Cayman Islands. This unique territory provides its citizens and residents with stunning waters, beaches, excursions, and even a unique way of life. As gorgeous and unparalleled as the homes there may be, it can still be no small feat to find just what you’re looking for on your own.
That’s where Crighton Properties comes in. They have nearly 50 years of experience providing their clients with prime real estate. They are a family-oriented real estate company that works diligently to provide for their clients, as they value their customer service above all else.
When you are looking for Cayman Islands houses, ...
... you should trust in them to do the work for you so you don’t have to. But, before going to them, you should first consider where exactly in the Cayman Islands you would like to live. Let’s have a look at the three islands in the territory to get you one step close to finding your dream home.
Grand Cayman
Grand Cayman is the largest island amongst the three. It is 22 miles long and has over 50,000 residents. Grand Cayman is the most popular island and has the territory’s capital, which is George Town.
This island has several outstanding locations for those looking to purchase a house, condo, or lot. Some of these include Seven Mile Beach, West Bay, Rum Point, Crystal Harbour, George Town, and South Sound, among others.
Grand Cayman also has some of the most stunning scenery. What you imagine life in the Caribbean, it’s almost a picturesque experience. This is true of the Cayman Islands, but especially on Grand Cayman-- and even more so. This island has some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the Caribbean and even the world.
Seven Mile Beach, for one example, has been named the fourth-best beach in the Caribbean. It was also recognized by MSN as the 12th greatest beach in the entire world. How enticing is that fact alone? The beaches here are so magnificent that words cannot properly describe their beauty. You will simply have to search through the many Cayman Islands houses, purchase one, and find out for yourself!
Grand Cayman also has other unique offerings besides its remarkable beaches. There are attractions, such as Starfish Point and Stingray City, along with exciting activities, like snorkeling, scuba diving, catamaran rentals, and so much more! You will never be bored living on this island.
Cayman Brac
The second-largest island of the three is Cayman Brac. This island is 12 miles long and has a population of about 2,000. Because of its significantly smaller population, this island is the most ideal for those who want more tranquility and nature.
Even though it’s smaller in size, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its fair share of enticing attributes. There is the Bluff which rises to about 140 feet above sea level with caves and caverns filled with bat colonies, which are perfect for those who enjoy cave exploration. There are also a fair amount of hiking trails and other natural attractions to investigate.
Little Cayman
Just as its name implies, Little Cayman is the smallest of the three islands. It is just ten miles long and has less than 200 residents. If you are looking for optimal quiet, nature, and undisturbed wildlife, then Little Cayman could be just what you need.
This particular island has plenty of nature that is remarkable and unique. It has unique flora and fauna in abundance that anyone would be lucky enough to admire. One great attraction on this island is the Booby Pond Nature Reserve, which has 20,000 boobies and 350 frigate birds. This island makes you truly appreciate nature, but also isn’t too far from the hubbub on Grand Cayman, which is only around 35 minutes away by plane.
