3 Must-have Components Of An Effective Resume

There is so much competition for different job openings. Writing a strategic and effective resume is the key to attracting the attention of employers and earning an interview.
For your resume to be effective, you must;
1. Highlight relevant work experience:
Your work experience section is the most important part of your resume because it best represents your qualifications. Your resume should include an experience section that clearly outlines the particular work and other experiences you have relevant to the position you are applying for. You should also include the companies you have worked for, the title you held at each company and the specific duties you carried out in your position. You can also include any other significant achievements or awards received in previous jobs you have held.
2. Include educational experience: The education section is also a necessary part of your resume. This component of your resume outlines your educational background as well as any academic achievements or awards you have received. Your education section should be pretty straightforward. Include the name of ...
... the college you attended, the degrees you completed and honours or achievements you earned and the year you graduated. If you are a recent graduate, you can include your high school education information as well.
3. Highlight relevant skills for the job: Hiring managers are on the lookout for candidates who have relevant and job-specific skills. In this section of your resume, you can list the specific skills you have as they relate to the job you are applying for. Common skills you could put in this section include computer skills, technical skills and soft skills that are relevant to the position. You can use the job listing as a guide for what the most appropriate skills to include would be.
