India’s most loved tournament is back with its second leg. The first phase, which started, was ended abruptly before the second wave hit as many off-field teammates tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The board of Indian cricket took the decision to call it off and later decided that the second half will be continued in the UAE.

While the news came as a relief to the cricket fans as they will be able to witness the T20 format and their favourite players, the second phase is returning from 19th September 2021. However, the ongoing pandemic has led to some players missing out on this phase for safety and security reasons. This decision is a massive blow for some teams as they would not have star players in their dugout.

Zampa- The Australian player picked by Kohli-led Bangalore in 2020 has been an asset to the team. However, the leg-spinner did not get to play even a single match in the first leg. The franchise recently released the statement that he would not be available for the tournament's second leg.

... He has always acted as a backbone when it came to both batting and bowling for the team. Known for his speed which will be missed in the further games.

Richardson- Another Australian player that will be missing the second leg of the tournament. He was bought by Rajasthan in 2014, followed by Bangalore in 2016. The Aussie did not get a single match to play in the first phase and will be missing out in the second part.
