Since the beginning of the 21st century Faridabad has started to develop into a major city instead of the small township which it was in the 1960’s and up to the 1980’s. There was a time in the 90’s when plans were made to modernize it but due to certain political issues the development plans were again put on the back burner till the second decade of the 21st Century. Now the city has been named in the 100 cities which are planned to be developed as smart cities of the future and since then the pace has once again picked up and construction has started on many new residential and commercial projects to get the city ready for the increase in the population which is going to come with the development.

Neal City is a project of plots being offered by the Soho Developers one of the local Faridabad builders. Soho builders being one of the new local builders and competing with giants like the BPTP and other construction conglomerates have taken great pains to provide the plots with the best possible amenities. The project is planned as a walled and gated community and hence they will provide tight security at the gate of the community 24 hours a day. They will provide paved roads and ample street lighting. Water supply is assured for 24 hours a day. A central park has been planned with landscaping and jogging tracks. Parking facilities will be under the stilts or front of the units. 300 trees to be planted in the compound for the aesthetic beauty and a sewage treatment plant are to be provided. There is to be an open gym and a small commercial area with shops for the community.

The location of the project in sector 98 is around 14 kms from the Faridabad Delhi Border and it takes 20 minutes to reach it from the border. The nearest Metro station is at sector 28 which is around 10 minutes away giving it good connectivity to the capital, the railway stations and the airports in Delhi.

Neal city also has some excellent possibilities of connection to the medical infrastructure. The Amrita is the nearest Hospital just five minutes away. This hospital is said to be the largest in India with a 2000 bed capacity. There are a number of other good hospitals like the Asian Institute of medical sciences also in a range of 10 minutes. For the schooling of the kids there are at least 16 excellent schools in a range of 3 to 5 kms. The Delhi Public School in sector 98 is just walking distance from the compound. Other schools worth mentioning are the Modern School and the Sriram Millennium School .

Prices for the plots in the Neal city are in the range of 35000 per square yard and there is a subsidy scheme available of 2. 67 lacs under the DDJAY. Bank loans are also available on request.
