Ladders for boats and dinghies are an indispensable addition to any type of boat, whether it is inflatable, motorboat, sailboat or any other type of boat. Boat ladders are characterised by a mostly minimalist design, which must fit in and combine with the aesthetics and functionality of any boat. They must also meet the requirements of robustness and safety, which are always essential when it comes to access to the sea and navigation.

They are seldom used for descending into the water, but are essential for ascending. They come in various forms and structures, each designed for a particular purpose and need. The types of ladders vary from fixed ladders to telescopic ladders to folding ladders.

Materials of construction can also vary, from wood to steel, from common plastics to the most sophisticated technopolymers. Thus, there is a distinction between use on new and used boats, with more or less attention paid to the esthetics of the ladder itself, but always focusing on safety and functionality.

The best ladders are foldable and made of ...
... AISI 316 steel. This is a special steel for boats that is hardly affected by salt and, in general, by the sun and bad weather, and therefore guarantees the entire structure a durability comparable to that of the boat itself on which it is installed. This type of ladder is foldable and attaches to the stern platform of the boat with a simple handle. Installation of the ladder requires no tools and is easy for any user. When closed, the ladder takes up very little space.
