A few days ago, I was talking to a group of fresh graduates - engineers and MBAs. I asked him about his dream job and was surprised when he said that he prefers any government job, especially in a state government organization. It got me thinking about job priorities almost 20 years ago. In those days, job seekers were desperate to join large private corporations and multinationals. Myth 1: Salary and benefits of a government job are always higher than that of private jobs.
At the entry level, state government jobs (MPPSC) pay the lowest, not the lowest.
