Anemia, as we know, occurs when the body is unable to produce enough healthy red blood cells that contain hemoglobin and transport oxygen around the body. Since the human body relies on iron to produce hemoglobin, iron deficiency can lead to anemia.

Although fatigue and tiresome feeling are some of the significant iron deficiency symptoms, it doesn’t mean that you can pin it to anemia every time you are worn to a frazzle. There are a variety of reasons why you could feel weary. For example:

● You could have been infected with a virus or another low-grade illness,
● You could be suffering from thyroid issues,
● You might be sleep-deprived.

To help you understand better, here are the warning signs of anemia in women that will help you identify this condition at the earliest;
What Are The Common Iron Deficiency Causes in Women?

● Low-nutrients Diet:
The human body requires a well-balanced diet that provides a regular supply of iron as well as vitamin B12, folate, and protein. Iron, in general, is obtained if you follow a diet that contains fruits, vegetables, ...
... and meat in particular. The vegetable sources of iron known as 'non-heme 'are plentiful; however, the body does not as readily consume this form of iron compared to 'heme' that is highly available in meat and fish sources.

● Hereditary Anemia:
According to the medical professional, the genetic background is also responsible when it comes to anemia. Sickle cell anemia and thalassemia are two genetic types of anemia that demand long-term treatment under the guidance of a specialist.

● Untreated Digestive Diseases:
Studies suggest that unresolved Crohn's disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or other digestive difficulties affect low iron. This poses a signal that the body is not absorbing the required nutrients effectively. Crohn's disease can also induce intestinal bleeding, which leads to iron deficiency. Regular constipation, bloating, stomach aches, or loose stools are some of the low iron levels symptoms. Ulcers, polyps, and colon cancer are other probable digestive reasons that can affect the iron absorption.

● Recent Blood Donation
Donating blood to help others is a grand gesture. However, if the patient has donated blood too frequently or too close together, their iron levels suffer. Therefore, you must take proper intervals between the donations and maintain a well-balanced diet.

● Blood Loss:
Chronic blood loss is often considered responsible for anemia, mainly in cases of post-surgery or severe accidents. Major severe or chronic medical disorders like cancer or another form of tumor can cause anemia. Even gastrointestinal problems (such as stomach ulcers, hemorrhoids, malignancy, or gastritis ) can also be deemed responsible for such heavy blood loss that can further make the patient anemic if a proper nutritious diet is not followed.

● Pregnancy:
The woman's body requires twice as much iron to sustain a developing baby throughout the pregnancy, leading to deficiency. In some cases, mothers may also suffer from low iron anemia post-pregnancy due to losing a significant amount of blood while delivering.

● Menstruation:
Unlike pregnancy, the menses losing blood every month are among the most common
