What is the difference between Vedic Maths & Abacus?
Abacus education is a Brain development program to enhance the right brain abilities. Or you can say it is a way of Brain exercise with the help of abacus tool and Arithmetic. Vedic Maths is a very old means traditional way of calculation with the help of Vedic maths tricks we can complete the numbers very easily.

2. How effective is Vedic math for Children?

Vedic mathematics is a tool to make the calculation easier.

it makes a student smart but not hard working.

According to my personal opinion, we first have to let them teach a basic mathematics principle & their application by doing a lot of calculative problems (e.g to multiply 58647995*9856478, or to divide 987456987559 by 89 )

so that they can learn to do hard work & because everyone can’t remember each & every tricks of Vedic mathematics & further teach them how to do it in the easiest way using Vedic mathematics.

once I had given a problem to multiply 999999999 with 987654321 to average 10 years old students in a class, ...
... I become surprised to see only 5 students can answer correctly out of 31 students & the interesting thing is that most of them leave it & was not interested to solve it by saying it’s easy but they don’t want to waste his time.

yes sure it’s just a calculative problem but they don’t want to work do hard work.

A good study is about to make the problem easy but because they are not working on them how can they find his solution.

finally, I had solved it on board as

999999999 x 987654321

=(1000000000–1) x 987654321

=987654321000000000–987654321= 987654320012345679

every one just clapping & become happy.

3. Is Vedic Maths better than simple Mathematics?

Let me clarify, Vedic Mathematics is a tool to make Mathematics Calculations easy and fast. Vedic Mathematics is a collection of techniques and Sutras.

We cannot compare Vedic Mathematics with Mathematics as a subject or substitute.

Definitely with help of Vedic Mathematics techniques we are able to do Mathematics we are able to do our mathematical calculations mentally or in a single/ minimum
