We’re always running around with no time to spare for anything, even if chasing your foodie dreams. We all know a home-cooked meal, or a meal you’ve cooked yourself always tastes better but you still eat out or order in? Well, the reason is you’ve got no time to cook! We’re firm believers of the fact that good food is not about long hours in the kitchen. So luckily for you, we’ve got some really quick and easy recipes that are both delicious and pocket-friendly for days when you are in no mood for elaborate cooking or order anything and burn holes into your pockets.

It’s time your taste buds indulge in some great flavours put together by your own two hands with terrible ease through recipes that will surprise everyone. With an array of all kinds of appetizers ready to be made and dug into, your meal plans are sorted.

All you need to do is ensure your pantry is stocked with ingredients to ensure that the cooking process is a breeze. Now scroll down and find some amazing dishes like the best momos, french toast, yoghurt pudding, 3-minute chocolate cake, easy fried rice ...
... etc., all of which are quick and easy to make.

French Toast:
A universal favourite at the go-to dish recipe for most - french toast with an Indian masala-maar twist to it. Deliciously hot and buttery bread and cheese sandwiches are dipped in a herby well-seasoned egg white batter, and then pan-fried. This quick and healthy option is for those looking for a power-packed start to the day or a filling mid-day snack they can quickly make and indulge in.

Yoghurt pudding:
Yoghurt paired up with fruits - you can’t go wrong with this one. Add this breezy pudding to your lazy Sunday and make it a day well spent. All you need is a couple of berries or fruits you enjoy eating, dipped in flavoursome yoghurt of the healthy kind. Add some dry fruits to get that lacking crunchiness and texture to finish it off. We assure you, there’s nothing better than having spoonfuls of this deliciously healthy meal for breakfast!

Momos:
A popular snack that has become almost synonymous with oriental cuisine, Momos were bound to be on this list. Every household favourite, momos are not only delicious but quite easy to make once you get the hang of it. They’re made of a plain flour cover filled with either sautéed veggies or minced up meat. The combination of garlic, ginger, green chillies and schezuan sauce completes the dish in a scrumptious fashion, with each ingredient doing its job perfectly.

Momos are traditionally steamed in bamboo baskets, but you can use a home-cooker or steaming pot as well. The best part is, once you’ve got them all wrapped up and ready, you can just freeze them up and save them for later. Frozen momos remain fresh for longer periods, and the same process is used for readymade momos.

3-Minute Cakes:
Yes, you heard that right! No, we’re not tripping. Have rich and delicious chocolate cakes in a mug, in just three minutes! All you have to do is gather the ingredients, put them all in a mug, mix well and leave it in the microwave time for three minutes. It literally can’t get easier than this. Midnight snacking or dessert cravings - you name it, this handy recipe is guaranteed to make you repeatedly get your dose of sugar and cocoa daily!

Fried Rice:
This easy one-pot meal is bound to become your go-to meal. Egg fried rice paired up with garlicky overtones is a recipe for success. All you need to have been leftover rice from the refrigerator and throw them in a pan with well-seasoned eggs and garlic to fry up. And voila, a delicious meal for one is ready to serve in a few minutes. You can add your preferred choice of vegetables as well to give it a different flavour and texture.

Stir-Fried Chicken:
For this quick and might as well say scrumptious dish, you need chicken or tofu / vegetables depending on your diet preferences and some seasoning and spices, preferably oriental. Prep time isn’t as long and messy, as all you have to do is toss all your ingredients in a hot frying pan and stir as the name suggests. The process is quite similar to the fried rice, as they both belong to quite the same cuisine, and so the two dishes’ pair up nicely. You’ve now got a full-fledged meal ready to be devoured. Bon Appetit!
