The method of chemical control is generally used for planting Chinese herbal medicine.

1、 Precautions

1. Pay attention to the selectivity, specificity and timeliness of chemical herbicides, and do not misuse or misuse them.

2. Strictly control the limited dose. Herbicides shall be used in strict accordance with the dosage range, concentration and dosage specified in the drug description according to the specific soil quality and considering the farmland microclimate.

3. Reasonably mix chemicals. When two or more herbicides are mixed, the mixing proportion, application time and spraying technology shall be strictly mastered, and whether there is resistance or other side effects between them shall be considered. A small amount can be taken for miscibility test. If precipitation, flocculation, stratification, floating and deterioration occur, it indicates that its safety has changed, and it can not be mixed. In addition, pay attention to the synergistic function of the mixture. For example, the herbicidal effect of the mixture of herbicide Dan and barnyardgrass is greater than the sum of the herbicidal ...
... effects of each single dose. When using, reduce the dosage of the mixture (generally within half of the dosage of each single dose) to avoid drug damage and ensure the safety of medicinal materials.

4. Pay attention to the isolation of pesticide application and wind direction, and the mist droplets shall not be too fine to avoid drug damage to adjacent farmland caused by drift, and pay attention to the impact on next crops.

5, grasp the best time and technical operation essentials of herbicide, properly preserve the pesticides, prevent misuse, and do well in the cleaning of spray apparatus, so as to avoid misuse and cause other crops to cause phytotoxicity.

6. Pay attention to the influence of environmental conditions on herbicides. Factors such as temperature, moisture, light, soil type, organic matter content, soil tillage and land preparation level will directly or indirectly affect the weeding effect of herbicides.

7. Flexible medication. The application and weeding of medicine and soil method at the base of medicinal plants shall be carried out under the condition of no dew, so as to avoid the damage of stems and leaves in contact with the liquid medicine. For the chemicals sensitive to crop seedlings and germ, the soil treatment should be applied after covering the seeds before sowing, improve the sowing quality as much as possible and appropriately increase the sowing amount. For some transplanted medicinal materials with large seedlings and small weeds, the seedling belt (20-30cm wide near the seedlings) can be used for centralized application. Selective or herbicide resistant herbicides should be protected by spraying directly or topping on the soil surface as far as possible without contacting with the seedlings of medicinal herbs, and should not be delayed until the seedlings are vigorous and the area of green leaves is large. If stubble is allowed, measures such as dry land irrigation, paddy field wetting and film mulching can be taken before sowing and planting of medicinal materials to make weeds germinate in advance, and then kill them with chemicals.vertical rack system

8. At present, there is no herbicide specially used for medicinal materials in the market. Most of them borrow herbicides such as vegetables and fruit trees. Therefore, herbicides must be purchased or weeded under the guidance of experts or technicians with practical experience to avoid economic losses and adverse consequences.

2、 Applicable pesticides

The Common Weeds in the medicinal field mainly include barnyardgrass, Dogtail grass, thrush grass, Herba Carthami, ox tendon grass, Magnolia grandiflorum, Festuca arundinacea, Portulaca oleracea, cockscomb, Polygonum quinoa, Salsola, solitary vegetable, shepherd's purse, water peanuts, Grifola and Convolvulus convolvulata, etc. These weeds not only compete with medicinal plants for nutrients and water in the soil, but also deteriorate the environment, spread diseases and pests, and seriously affect the yield and quality of Chinese medicinal materials. In the process of weed control, different methods should be adopted for different weeds according to their different properties, and chemical agents should be selected for weeding, which not only saves money and labor, but also is more thorough, and can receive better control effect.
