1. Comfort
The first reason is so obvious that it is often overlooked. Most people go to fitness clubs because this is the most comfortable place to do fitness. It is the availability of amenities that makes the fitness club commercially attractive to customers. The most important were the following factors:
 - proximity to home;
 - conditions for diverse activities;
 - clean changing rooms and showers;
 - online registration for training;
 - Convenient methods of payment for services;
 - availability of a contract.
Women also report that they feel safer when they practice in the fitness club than on the street.
2. Health and a beautiful body
Another obvious but important reason. According to the survey participants, after exercise, their mood improves and anxiety decreases, which directly affects the quality of life. The sports figure, oddly enough, is more interested in men. Women are concerned about weight control and the desire to return to the previous size of clothes.
3. Group training
The third reason is group lessons. Such training ...
... is appreciated for the time limit and clear structure. And also for the atmosphere and enthusiasm of the coach, which is transmitted to the whole group and forced to give all the best. In addition, the survey participants note the social factor. In group lessons, many make new acquaintances, which later develop into friendships.
4. Personal training
One-to-one workouts were also cited as one of the reasons for going to the fitness club . Personal training is appreciated for the ability to practice at your own pace and perform only those exercises that are really necessary. This helps to achieve the set result much faster than in a group. However, the personal computers also had opponents. The latter argue that such training often turns into a "must" and reduces interest in fitness classes.
5. Motivational triggers
Speaking of commitments. Most of those surveyed noted that prepayments, burned-out sessions, and regular workout reminders do create additional motivation. Fitness clubs that emphasize control, self-development, and personal effectiveness in promotion strategies command more respect than those that do not.
