According to the latest press release from Continental Technical Center India, the company announced changes in engineering leadership for its ADAS and VED business units. Praveen Kumar will be the new Head of Engineering, VED BU, and Jaidev Venkataraman will be the new Head of Engineering – Sensorics, ADAS BU, both switched roles.

Continental said Praveen Kumar and Jaidev Venkataraman, both of whom have substantial R&D experience in ADAS and VED technologies, will play a critical role in allowing TCI’s holistic development of safety technologies for both global and local markets.

Latha Chembrakalam,Head of TCI, commented on the leadership changes, saying, “The cross-move of both Praveen and Jaidev would further boost Continental’s competence in creating innovative and sophisticated safety technology.” She further adds, "Jaidev and Praveen have made significant contributions to their previous jobs, allowing the business units to grow rapidly and qualitatively. Several global programmes were successfully implemented under their direction, and many product innovations were achieved.”
