Constructing A Fully Equipped Prefab Office

Why use prefab office cabins?
• Quality
The controlled environment where the manufacturing and construction take place is never affected by climatic conditions. It prolongs the life of the materials utilized in modular structures. That is why porta cabins with toilets are highly corrosion resistant and robust. Material management and inventory processes also improve, leading to a faster and more efficient construction process.
• Quick builds
Prefabricated offices have 30-60% quick construction times than permanent workplaces.
• Recyclable material
These mobile offices make use of recyclable materials, which saves money and reduces waste.
• Eco-friendly
These prefabricated and movable workplaces are green as they are developed in a controlled setting and use lesser material during construction due to standard sizes. There is no material wastage as well.
• Affordable
Prefabricated office structures are highly prevalent in India and hence relatively cheap and have high recycled value.
• Durable
Prefabricated office buildings are more stable owing ...
... to their design and construction. Unlike conventional construction portable site offices, they are long-lasting and sturdy.
Requirements for a prefab office
1. Ready-made steel structures
Structural steel is a kind of steel used to build steel forms. Its enormous strength benefits structures. The steel frame is flexible and can flex when pushed to one side by the wind or an earthquake without breaking, another significant benefit. Steel's third quality is flexibility. It will not shatter like glass but slowly deform out of shape when exposed to tremendous force.
2. Roofing Solutions
Roofing Solutions involve a variety of colors and finishes that are durable in usage. These alternatives to traditional roofing are creative, durable, and simple to install. Its benefits include being eco-friendly, appropriate for residential use, lightweight, available in various designs and colors, and resistant to fire and severe weather.
3. Insulation
Insulated structures reduce heat transfer and save energy expenditures. Insulation is used in prefab systems to decrease thermal energy transfer through walls, floors, and ceilings.
The R-value is a scale that measures how well a structure is insulated. When a building's R-value is insufficient, its walls, ceilings, and flooring require extra insulation. A reputed sandwich panel manufacturer offers the best insulation solutions.
Process of constructing prefab offices
• Framing and floors
The first step is to weld a steel frame to the size of each module. Subsystems are typically 14′ wide by 76′ extended owing to shipping limitations. The construction of the floor joists and decking takes place along with welding the structure.
• Walls
The walls are next to the production line. They use conventional wood studs spaced to meet wind load requirements. Horizontal placement of the wood then takes place and connects the flooring and frame.
Installation of planned interior wall finish follows wall attachment to the floor. During this stage, windows, insulation, electrical wiring, plumbing, and other components are installed.
• Roofing
The module is assembled, and the roof structure is ready for installation. An overhead crane carefully lifts the roof onto the walls. Now that the top is stable, the module will start to take form.
• Tiling & Exterior Finishes
Ductwork, electrical wiring, and other components are installed on top of the module. Finished exterior while doors and inside trim are installed. Finally, the roof decking is placed and waterproofed.
A growing number of people are opting for prefabricated buildings, which are becoming better quality and accessible in the broader range of designs that are custom-made to meet the needs of individual clients. Satec is one of the leading prefab structure manufacturers. The prefabricated building has the primary benefit of being readily dismantled and moved to other locations if necessary.
