The New Apple Watch 7 Is Coming In September: Rumor Or Truth?

The launch of the Apple Watch 7 is approaching, and despite the few leaks about the forthcoming smartwatch, we have a good idea of what to expect. It’ll likely be unveiled in September alongside iPhone 13. We don’t know much about the Apple Watch 7, but it’ll probably run on watchOS 8.
We’ve prepared a detailed list of all the leaks and rumors that have surfaced so far, as well as facts on the Apple Watch 7’s expected release date and price. Apple’s next-generation wearable could have a slimmer, flatter design and a longer battery life, and possibly a new blood glucose monitoring sensor, among other things.
Apple Watch 7: Expected to Arrive in September
If we had to guess the release date of the Apple Watch 7, we’d guess mid-September 2021. According to 9to5Mac, Ming-Chi Kuo (an analyst with a great track record for Apple updates) predicts that a new Apple Watch version will be released in the second half of 2021, which is the only real release date rumor so far.
Apple Watch 7 Price will Most Likely be Similar to that of the Series 6.
We have a very decent idea of what the Apple ...
... Watch 7 price will be unless Apple throws a financial curveball our way. The company’s flagship smartwatch in the 40mm size with GPS has always cost $399 as its entry-level price. Of course, Apple could raise the price in 2021, but we don’t see any significant hardware improvements or new features on the horizon that would justify a price hike.
Apple Watch 7 Display and Design
There haven’t been many Apples Watch 7 leaks yet, but there have been a few. For one thing, we’ve seen unofficial renders of the wearable’s likely design, which includes flat edges rather than the rounded ones found on the Apple Watch 6. The wearable will also be available in black, silver, red, blue, and green, according to the source. In terms of the display, there have been rumors that Apple is considering switching from OLED to micro-LED panels on its devices. Micro-LED can improve image quality while also lowering battery consumption, making it an appealing upgrade.
In a report listing numerous upcoming features, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman predicted that the Apple Watch 7 would have thinner bezels. The company is exploring a “new lamination technique” that raises the watch’s display closer to the top cover, according to Gurman’s sources. Apple Watch 7 could also be “slightly thicker,” according to the insiders.
Apple Watch 7 Expected Specifications and Features
The previous three models all had a battery life of around 18 hours, with the Series 6 having a 265.9 mAh battery. As per reports about an Apple smartwatch 7 is having new swim-tracking features, but it’s unclear what shape they’d take or whether they’d be restricted to the rumored tougher edition (which the same report focuses on).
Meanwhile, a glucometer, which measures blood sugar levels, might be a new health feature. According to a source, the Apple Watch 7 could be one of several smartwatches with this feature in 2021.
According to some sources, none of the major new features rumored for the Apple Watch 7 will arrive until the Apple Watch 8 or later. The Apple Watch 7 reportedly only gets a new chipset, thinner bezels, and improved ultra-wideband capability.
One major improvement we might see with the Apple Watch 7 is a larger battery, as its chipset is expected to be smaller, allowing for a larger battery.
A patent has recently surfaced that suggests a Touch ID fingerprint scanner could be included in a future Apple Watch. This has been mentioned in several patents, with one describing a Touch ID scanner integrated into the home button. Another patent in the same link describes an under-display camera that is completely invisible when not in operation.
What features do we expect from the Apple smartwatch 7?
There are a few things we’d like Apple to do with the Apple Watch 7. Among them are the following: Improved battery life and Sleep tracking. These are the improvements that could be achieved with a software update, but whether through new hardware or just new software, we want the Apple Watch 7’s sleep tracking to be a lot better. Improved fitness tracking skills and a circular screen, this is probably not going to happen, but we’d love to see Apple release the Apple Watch 7 in both circular and square versions.
Final Words In the blog post, we have mentioned the expected information about the Apple Watch 7. Apple Watch 7 is expected to arrive in September this year. We don’t know much about it, but it is probably coming with a major upgrade and few additional features.
