Here, AliasName is the Exchange 2000 alias name and ExchangeServerName is the name of the Exchange 2000 server.
Reason behind this error
This problem generally occurs if the MS Exchange 2000 email alias for the user account is different from the MS Windows 2000 user name for the account.

To modify the default SMTP address for the user, follow these steps:
Click Start Programs Administrative Tools  Active Directory Users and Computers.
Double-click Users.
In the right pane, right-click the account that you want to modify, and then click Properties.
Click the General tab, and then type the full e-mail address for the user in the E-mail box.
Click the Account tab, and then type the Windows 2000 user name in the User logon name box.
In the User logon name (pre-Windows 2000) box, type the pre-Windows 2000 user name.
Click the Exchange General tab, and then type the Windows 2000 user name.
Click the E-mail Addresses tab, click New, click SMTP Address in the E-mail addresses list, and then click OK.
In the E-mail address box, type the address that you want to use as the user's default address, and then click OK.
Click the address that you entered earlier, and then click Set as Primary.
Now to configure Outlook Express to use the new SMTP address, follow these steps:
Start Outlook Express.
Go to Tools  Accounts Mail  user account Properties.
In the E-mail address box, type the SMTP address that you entered in earlier section.
Click the Servers tab.
In the Account name box, type Domain\Username, where Domain is the domain for the account and Username is the Windows 2000 user name.
In the Password box, type the password for the Windows 2000 user account, and then click to select the Remember password check box.
Click OK, and then quit Outlook Express.
