Acid reflux may be a common digestive problem but it doesn’t mean you can disregard it as something not serious. Frequent bouts of acid reflux can damage your lower esophageal sphincter because of the acid passage from the stomach to your esophagus. Aside from the damage of the lower esophageal sphincter, it may be a symptom of something much worse and may lead to surgery if untreated.
I have acid reflux and I used to just ignore the symptoms of acid reflux like the sour-bitter tasting acid that goes up my throat and disregard it for something caused by drinking carbonated drinks. Not until I experienced heartburn where there is a burning pain that moves up to my chest and I feel like having a mild heart attack that I became alarmed and had myself checked with a physician. I thought I was having a heart attack! Thankfully, I was diagnosed with acid reflux instead. I mean, of course, I am not happy with my acid reflux but it was better than having a heart attack!
I was told by my physician that if it becomes more frequent and worsens, I need to undergo surgery. I was prescribed a lot of medications but I wanted ...
... to try a more holistic approach and I came across Rachel’s digestive tea on Rachel's tea Although tea is mildly acidic, Rachel’s digestive tea is alkaline and improves digestive issues. With this component, it is the best tea for acid reflux because it helps neutralize the acid in my stomach.
Rachel’s digestive tea contains eight different herbs, each with a specific purpose that helps my acid reflux. It contains turmeric root which helps deal with the inflammation of my digestive organs caused by the acid leak. It has wild yam root that is a natural analgesic and helps minimize the pain. It has a ginger root that helps my feeling of nausea sometimes when I forget to eat and during acid reflux flare-ups. Rachel’s digestive tea also has marshmallow leaf that helps when I have diarrhea caused by too much acid in the stomach. With that being said, it is the best tea for acid reflux.
Chamomile flowers help relieve stress and the peppermint leaf helps with the bloating that is associated with too much acid in the stomach. Fennel seed helps release abdominal and stomach gas that is formed with an increase in stomach acid. With the ingredients in it, Rachel’s tea is the best tea for digestion.
With the acid damaging my digestive organ, Rachel’s digestive tea has slippery elm bark that helps heal damaged mucus lining by coating the mucus lining and protecting it from further acid contact and damage. Lastly, it contains peppermint oil which aids in healthy
digestion. Even with just two of the ingredients, it is already the best tea for acid reflux. With all eight ingredients being a key component in the battle against acid reflux, Rachel’s digestive tea which I purchased on Rachel's tea is the best tea for acid reflux. Happy to have found the best tea for my acid reflux, I plan to continue drinking it even after feeling better because aside from being good for acid reflux, it is good for the overall well-being of my digestive system.
