Symptoms Of Stomach Ulcer 3

How do we know we have a stomach ulcer? We know we have stomach ulcers when we feel there is something wrong with our stomach. Kidding aside, it is very important to know the symptoms of a stomach ulcer so that we know we have it, avoid foods that can affect our stomach ulcers, and find ways to fix it.
This was what happened to me. I did not know I was already experiencing symptoms of a stomach ulcer. I was vomiting my meals and at first, I thought I was experiencing a simple case of food poisoning but it was already a symptom of a stomach ulcer. I was also experiencing loose bowel movements which again I thought was caused by food poisoning so with a little help from Gatorade and some salt crackers, I thought I was okay until I saw that my stools were very dark in color. This alarmed me considerably because I know that having black-colored stools was not normal especially since I wasn’t eating dark-colored foods all the time. My vomiting became more frequent and I knew that these weren’t food poisoning anymore and I should have myself checked.
Turned out that what I was feeling were all symptoms of a stomach ...
... ulcer even if I thought it was only a normal reaction to the foods I ate. I was bloated all the time even if I don’t eat chewing gums or have any other reason to be bloated except during my monthly menstrual periods. Bloating is one symptom of a stomach ulcer and should be a sign of alarm for me. Retching or heaving was also another symptom of a stomach ulcer that I sometimes feel. Being nauseous and feeling very full after a meal even if I only ate a small portion because I did not have the appetite at all was also another symptom of a stomach ulcer which I did not know. During my check-up and my physician was asking me questions and told me that all these were symptoms of a stomach ulcer, everything clicked in place. My doctor told me that there are certain foods to avoid to prevent worsening my condition and when I look back, I realized that I was eating the wrong things. I was lucky because I was able to have myself checked before my condition gets worse. I have been prescribed an antacid to help me deal with my symptoms of a stomach ulcer but it was only temporary relief. I need to do something else to help me with my stomach ulcer.
I was referred by my physician to check out www.rachelstea.com and enroll in the program they offer on the site. I was assessed first by the Rachel's Tea team to check out the status of my condition and was referred to a certain diet plan to help me heal from my stomach ulcer as well as deal with the symptoms of a stomach ulcer along the way. I know it would not be easy and healing doesn't happen overnight but I know that each step I take is a step closer to recovery. Enthusiastic with my new direction healthwise, I can't wait to feel better digestively!
