Cbdt Extends Due Date To File Form 15ca/15cb Manually
There is a big relaxation for taxpayers as well as foreign currency remitters, as CBDT extends the due date for filing form 15CA/15CB manually. Numerous taxpayers had issues with the new income tax portal when filing form 15CA/CB. Therefore, CBDT has extended the deadline for these forms to address this issue.

What is Forms 15CA/15CB?
The Form 15CA is a declaration that you are sending remittances to an Indian non-resident or international company, regardless of whether the payment is subject to tax.
To send funds from India to another country, the payer must submit this declaration to the bank.
Without submitting form 15CA/CB, banks will not allow money to be sent outside India.
Remitter who makes payments to non-residents must fill out form 15 CA. This includes information about the settlement and an accounting certificate.

CBDT extends the deadline to file Form 15CA/15CB manually
The CBDT has allowed further relaxation in electronic filing of forms 15CA and 15CB due to difficulties experienced by taxpayers in filing the forms online at https://incometax.gov.in.
Taxpayers may now submit Form 15CA/15CB manually until August 15, 2021.
The income tax department also advises bank/ authorized dealers to collect such Forms until August 15th, 2021.
