What a blessing a professional moving company is that has skilled operatives who know what they are supposed to be doing and when. When you are lucky enough to come across a professional moving company such as Handy Moves, your house move should be relatively straightforward and professionally handled, with friendly staff that arrive at the time stated. They are wearing the company uniform and look smart and efficient. All the operatives who arrive to move your belongings are carrying a full range of identification and references. They are fully insured, don't attempt to smoke over all your belongings and even catch the cat that has been eluding you all morning since breakfast.

Customer Focused Reputation
All your possessions are carefully and skilfully loaded into the truck and, even when your daughter's fluffy bunny got packed by mistake, they managed to retrieve Bad Bun without a single expletive. This sounds like the perfect dream, doesn't it? The kind of dream that you dread waking up from! However, if you book Handy Moves for your removal experience, that is exactly the kind of service you can expect - and ...
... I mean ‘expect', not ‘hope for'! Sadly, not every moving company has Handy Moves' motivation and experience; nor are they lucky enough to have such experienced operatives who are so customer-focused. Many moving companies are excellent, absolutely first-class, always carrying out a professional job and leaving behind satisfied customers in their wake - but, what about the rest?

Check Who's Moving Your Possessions
It is certainly not being paranoid to check exactly who you are allowing to have access to the contents of your house, especially in this day and age when, in many cases, there no longer seems to be honour amongst the thieves! Furthermore, moving house is certainly not a cheap option nowadays. There is a huge number of moving companies in practically every town and city in the country - so many in fact it makes you wonder how they make enough money to survive. Basically, if a company is honest, it is extremely easy to run a check on their background. The easiest place to start is with Companies House, in Cardiff, Wales, in the UK.

Running a company check through Companies House will not cost you anything because, if the removal company you are considering is a limited company, it must, by law, be registered with Companies House. It the removals company is purporting to be a limited company and you can't find them on the Companies House database, then there is definitely something fishy about them. However, if the removals' company is not a limited company, they will not be registered with Companies House and you will have to look somewhere else for your information. Of course, if you stick with Handy Moves then you won't have a problem. They have built up a sufficiently large portfolio over the past 15 years in the removals business that there are plenty of past customers whom you can contact to check them out.
