Natural Remedies And Treatments For Upset Stomach And Diarrhea
Problem of upset stomach as well as diarrhea is very common in people of all ages. Various factors are there which gives rise to upset stomach problem and diarrhea like food poisoning, including stress, problems with digestion and food allergies.
Usually many people suffer from this problem whether this problem is temporary or permanent. People often suffer from heartburn, diarrhea, gas, nausea and constipation also. the main cause behind this problem may be intake of improper food, oily and fatty foods, junk foods, due to some medication, living unhygienic ally, over eating, not eating in proper time, food poisoning, due to pregnancy, ulcers due to some high fiber foods like beans, fruits and vegetables etc.
Some of the major symptoms of upset stomach and diarrhea are gas pains, heart burning, headache and weakness, loss of appetite, fatigue, vomiting and abdominal cramping.
Some of the natural remedies are -
1. Peppermint has the qualities to calm stomach. So prefer to drink tea.
2. Restrict the intake of drink and foods which may cause upset stomach or gas like intake of milk, coffee, ...
... chocolate, cauliflower, fried foods and baked beans and onion also.
3. Take half glass of water and add half tsp of baking soda and stir it properly. Drink this mixture to get rid from rumble of acid indigestion and also heart burn. Repeat to drink this mixture if required after two hours and drink this mixture quickly. People who are adult but under 60 can repeat this process of drinking this mixture up to 7 times in 24 hours period.
4. Banana is having the quality to soothe the upset stomach. It is also having the qualities to counteract the acid which causes the upset stomach. So make a habit to eat a banana daily. It is also easily digestible and also eases in case of diarrhea.
5. Ginger is also having the qualities to treat upset stomach. You can drink strong ginger tea or you may chew a piece of candied ginger to get relief from nausea. In China over 2000 years people are using ginger as a natural treatment for upset stomach.
6. Avoid stress and relax. Go for warm bath, listen to calming and soothing music and remain busy with a good book. In this way you will get rid off from stress and this will help you in the treatment of upset stomach and diarrhea.
7. Keep yourself hydrated and make a habit to intake plenty of water as well as liquid item.
