... Winter sports are in love with vacationers. Very good ski possibilities are offerd in Low, High, West, Belianske Tatras mountains. Well known ski resort is Jasna - Chopok near our apartment. It has many new ski lifts and groomed ski runs, artificial snow. I mention this one becouse it is best place for skiing and is near of our vacation rental. You realy find much more ski resorts around our accommodation with similar prices or cheeper. Behind village Zavazna Poruba, our preffered place to travel, there is small ski resort named Opalisko with 3 ski lifts and 1 chair ski lift to use. It is cheeper one but not the cheapast. There are many more ski runs in around. Slovakia covers 350 larger or smaller ski resorts areas about. Theese winter sports like yound population. I belong to them. Summer recreation sports can be managed on every place on earth. It is essential to visit Slovakia as middle European country.
