For a Windows system to boot up there is a need of an essential file known as NTLDR (NT Loader). It is helpful for booting up Windows NT, Server 2003, XP, and Server 2000 systems. NTLDR should be in a good condition all the time for ensuring successful booting of the system. If any of its file is missing, corrupt then you are not able to boot up the system at any cost. It is run from the primary hard disk drive and contains the main Boot loader.
Despite of many precautions we take, corruptions tend to occur in NTLDR file. The NTLDR file may get missing or corrupted due to various reasons, such as virus infections, power outages, damaged operating system, etc. In such times, you are supposed to take help of considerate corrective solution. o By using a boot disk that contains all the mentioned files.
o By using the Recovery Console to copy the mentioned files to your computer.
o By using the Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM to repair the Windows Startup Environment.
With these methods you can be sure of repairing corrupt NTLDR and get access to all the Windows data. But in some cases, these methods just fail to do the needful.
