Our work-based training is an essential component of many of our educational and training programs. It is designed to include work observation, work experience and other forms of workplace learning. There are practical placements structured workplace learning which is a part of a written agreement between RGIT Australia and the training organisation and a host employer for vocational or further education courses or programs.
Work-based training provides the students with several benefits. It provides the perfect opportunity to learn in a workplace that reflects the current industry needs and standards. The students also get to interact with experienced workers who shall pass on valuable skills and knowledge. The students can also gain a sense of what working with their qualification would be like. They would get an opportunity to practise and demonstrate their hands-on skills and underpin knowledge in a structured way. The students can ask questions and learn about the industry and workers and recognise their skills and expertise by demonstrating and recording evidence.
