The fertility of a woman can be preserved by freezing eggs or embryos (fertilized eggs). This process is safer and has the highest success rate as compared to the rest options.
Targeted For: It is targeted for women who are able to produce healthy eggs (generally till 35 Years) at the time of preservation. It best for women having ...
... breast cancer and undergoing radiotherapy. Egg freezing is generally suggested to the woman who is single or unsure about her partner at the time of fertility preservation. While embryo freezing is suggested for those women who are sure about their partner. In this, an egg is retrieved, fertilized with partner’s sperm, and then freeze.
Procedure: First, ovaries are stimulated using various hormones. After two weeks of stimulation, mature eggs are retrieved from the ovaries using the ultrasound needle. Then, eggs or embryos are freeze at the -196ºC temperature either by slow freezing or verification (rapid freezing to avoid crystallization of cell). Finally, it is stored in liquid nitrogen.
Whenever the patient desires to get pregnant these eggs or embryos are thawed and used for conceiving by IVF process. SCI IVF HOSPITAL is the best fertility center in Delhi.
Success Rate: It is 90-95% effective and widely used.

It suppresses the ovaries to perform its main function that is releasing mature eggs.
