With so many pieces of equipment to choose from in a Dubbo gym, it’s difficult to set up a proper schedule, let alone get the warm-up and all of the other components correct. While some of these blunders can seem small, they may result in significant losses in terms of returns. Avoid the following mistakes to save time, get quicker results, and make your workouts more successful.

Waiting for equipment to arrive

During peak hours, gym lines are bound to shape. The best time to go to the Dubbo gym classes is either early in the morning or after 7 p.m., when the post-work crowds have dispersed. However, regardless of how busy the gym is, you shouldn't have to interrupt your workout to wait for equipment. To get around this problem, keep alternate solutions in mind in case your preferred equipment is unavailable—for example, a squat rack might be the best place for you to get in a heavy set of back squats, but dumbbell goblet squats can be just as demanding and add a core strength component.

Skipping the warm-up is a bad idea

Although skipping the pre-workout warm-up can save time, it is a sure fire ...
... way to injure yourself when your workouts get tough. Before you attack the weights, do a dedicated warm-up that includes bodyweight movements like lunges, squats, push-ups, and jumping jacks to raise the heart rate. Include this fast warm-up in your workout no matter how little time you have. To increase blood flow to the region, practise the movement before going hard; make the first set of each exercise a lighter set of more reps.

Not having a schedule in place ahead of time

Going to the gym without a game plan is akin to going to the supermarket without a shopping list. You'll end up walking aimlessly back and forth for much longer than is appropriate. Your strategy should be well-thought out ahead of time. Include the drills, sets, and reps, as well as the order in which you want to complete them, so you can schedule your path through the gym. If you're going to the gym with a friend, talk about the workout routine ahead of time so you're both on the same page. This reduces the amount of time you spend talking and allows you to get down to business.

Before your lifting session, doing some cardio

Cardio is an important part of any man's fitness routine, but it can be harmful if performed at the incorrect time. A 30-minute jog afore a set of hefty squats can raise your heart rate and serve as a warm-up, but you'll be exhausted by the time you get under the rope, which can lead to poor form or, worse, injury.
