These celebrations take place twice a year in San Francisco, California, and are broadcast live throughout the world. Millions of people from all around the world watch these live product launches.

Dunkin’ Donuts

Dunkin' Donuts funded a five-concert series earlier this year called DD Summer Soundtrack to market its iced coffee offerings to millennials. Dunkin' Donuts used eight different social outlets to promote the event to a millennial demographic, including Spotify, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Vine, Facebook, and Periscope. Images, personalised playlists for each artist, and behind-the-scenes content were all included in the content.

Spotify

Music streaming app Spotify was one of the first brands to experiment with live streaming. Spotify used Periscope to broadcast an impromptu appearance by Villagers' Connor O'Brien. Several hundred people watched the show online, with 1,500 hearts on the broadcast and about 200 more on the repeat.

SpaceX

For breaking business news and highlighting emerging technology, live video is an excellent platform. SpaceX accomplishes both by broadcasting live webcasts of rocket launches into space. These videos are naturally viral due to the captivating visuals. However, SpaceX fosters a sense of community around the brand by allowing people all over the world to connect and collaborate as historic milestones are met.

NASA, like SpaceX, has been using live streaming like a pro for years. NASA has always made it a point to make the whole world feel invested and informed with what is happening in the realm of space, from the landing of rovers on various planets to the operation of the International Space Station to the thing that draws the most attention – spacewalks.
