If you are a DJ or musician that likes to practice at home, you might be familiar with the neighbours calling you to reduce sound. One of the most difficult aspects about playing an instrument is that when you love it, you have a tendency to play it loud.

The only issue is that the neighbours that live around you can hear every note specifically if you live in a small community where the houses are near together. This may be troublesome to the neighbours who like to take some time in the afternoon simultaneously that you are practicing the instrument or having a lesson. One of the best ways to solve this issue is to install Fabric Wrapped Acoustical Panels behind the walls in the home. The acoustical wall panels don’t have to be behind every wall but they definitely can be installed behind the walls in the music room to ensure that the music stays in the room and that it doesn’t pass through the walls and echo through the homes of the neighbour.

Sound barrier walls should be installed by a professional ...
... way but they just take a few days to install. Another way to create a proper sound barrier is with wood cladding wall. External timber cladding can be installed on the exterior of the house to block access noise from leaving the noise so that neighbours can focus on their own work without disruption.

While you can’t completely ensure industrial noise control, there are a few things you can do to assist in lessening the noise level and make your space more private.

Add a fountain or industrial sound curtains to your yard. While the sound of trickling water won’t block the sound of screaming kids, it does offer a soothing distraction. Moreover, a small pond with a few decorative fountain or a few goldfish can add a lot of character to a backyard or a deck.

Plant a green fence. Nothing fills in an area faster than a cedar hedge or a natural divider of pine or spruce trees. You can keep them dense or low or allow them to grow tall, providing at the area that you want to cover. Other good options are tropical plants like bamboo or palm plants that can be left out throughout the year.

Hang Fabric Wrapped Acoustical Panels. Add woven bamboo or fabric shades to block any undesired views or create privacy. Decks are after all an extension of your inner living area, and blinds assist to reinforce this concept.
