In this article, we have discussed the ways using which you can turn off Clipboard Suggestions in Gboard. The Clipboard Suggestions is a feature that was introduced in Gboard the previous year. It’s one of the clearest ways to paste images, passwords, and texts, quickly from the clipboard. This can be done without even needing to long-press in the input field.

However, Google hasn’t offered any way to disable it yet. But you can turn off the Clipboard Suggestions using Gboard beta from now on. Want to know how to do that? Follow the steps we have mentioned below.

Turn off Clipboard Suggestions in Gboard
Before you proceed with the steps to turn off Clipboard Suggestions, please be noted that the ability to turn off the clipboard suggestions is currently restricted to only Gboard beta 10.3. However, we expect that the giant will bring the “Enable” toggle to Gboard’s stable version in the upcoming days ahead.

1. First, you need to Sign up for the Gboard beta.

2. Further, get the latest version of the Gboard app. You can head over to the Google Play Store to get the ...
... app.

3. Once you have the updated version of the app, you need to launch the app and go to its settings.

4. Then, tap on the “Clipboard” option.

5. On the next page, a toggled title will appear on your display stating, “Show recently copied text and images in the suggestions bar.” By default, this toggle will be in enabled mode. You need to disable it. That’s it.

Conclusion
So, these were the steps to disable Gboard Clipboard Suggestions. If you were never really a fan of the clipboard suggestions and wished to disable them, this feature would be pretty helpful for you. From now on, disabling clipboard suggestions will be a toggle away.

Most of us usually find these kinds of suggestions useful; due to their ease of use. However, for some Gboard users, it might not be convenient. But, there’s no harm in having a “Disable” option for a feature, and users will always welcome it. We really appreciate the development team of Gboard who has brought this, even though, minor yet useful option.

That’s all from us for now regarding how to turn off Gboard Clipboard Suggestions. We will come up with further updates regarding it in the upcoming days ahead. Till then, stay tuned. Also, if you face any issues regarding the feature, do let us know in the comment section below:
