By the heading, if you think that the Google Assistant feature of your phone is about to be scrapped, then you might be wrong. What the header means is the fact that the feature will be embedded in such a way that a user will not need to say “Hello Google” to wake Google Assistant from sleep. It would listen to you without you needing to say “Hello Google.” There is going to be an upgrade in technology.

Have you ever felt tired of saying “Hello Google” every other minute? If you feel burnt out by saying “Hello Google” way too often, then good news might be coming your way soon enough.

News had emerged last weekend courtesy of a website known as “Android Police,” which has alluded to the fact that a new feature (titled-“Guacamole”) has been observed by people after downloading the updates of Google software on their devices. In the aftermath of updates, the users are also able to see a scroll-down menu option titled “Guacamole” inside the settings option of Google Assistant, as per the reports given by Android Police. However, you ...
... must know the caveat that the button is still not operational yet, so you should wait a few days before downloading the updates straight away.

In any case, “Android Police” is pretty confident that the new feature “Guacamole” is a kind of shortcut key that will enable users to bypass the process of saying “Hello Google” to invoke Google Assistant in order to facilitate the completion of urgent tasks.

However, “Android Police” have also mentioned the fact that, in order to have this feature enabled on their device, they will have to go through some “terms and conditions” first. You should also know the disclaimer that these reports have emerged from “Android Police,” and they are one of the few who are looking confident about this new feature. Since it is not operational yet, you must take every report with a pinch of salt.

However, even if “Android Police” turns out to be spot on about the “Guacamole” update, exactly what urgent task will it enable Google Assistant to take care of? Well, according to a recent report published by another website called “9to5Google,” the urgent tasks will only encompass urgent requirements of the user such as “alarms,” “calls,” and “timers.” Several tech enthusiasts, including the ones from Android Police, are quite confident that Guacamole will enable the users to turn off the alarms just by saying “Stop” or “Snooze.” They will not need to say “Hello Google” to turn on the Google Assistant.

Similarly, the Guacamole feature will allow users to pick or receive the call just by the commands “pick” or “decline.”
The website called “9to5Google” has also issued a caveat that there is no obligation that the feature will arrive at your device since it is still in the testing stage, and it has only arrived on the phones of some users by accident. However, you should keep an eye on the updates as Google might release the feature to the mainstream public if and when they deem it appropriate.
