Google recently revealed some changes to its algorithms, and it's left the internet site building industry in a tizzy. What are these changes? The biggest one is that Google will be putting more emphasis on websites that have high page rankings. Here's why.

If you've been paying attention, you'll already realise that it's becoming increasingly difficult to get high page rankings on major search engines. The algorithms are getting smarter, and although there's still plenty of room for manoeuvre, webmasters can't rely solely on SEO techniques any more. With a focus on high page rankings, Google is looking to put an end to using black hat SEO techniques to gain top rankings.

Black Hat SEO Brisbane uses many of the same methods used by spammers and hackers, to obtain high rankings and website domination. Essentially, it sends a massive amount of random keywords to Google's search engine in order to increase website traffic. This makes websites more likely to be included in Google's search results, which can lead to a large amount of organic traffic.

In ...
... addition, black hat strategies make use of dishonest tactics to trick Google into thinking a website is legitimate. One such technique is to submit a website to directories without ensuring the listed details are correct. Google uses an automated system to check sites against a certain set of criteria. If the website fails to meet one of these criteria, it's likely to be rejected from the search results. This means that a website will not get the needed organic traffic and will not rank as highly within the search results.

Another technique is to use "spider" scripts or malware to check website pages against certain sets of rules. By using a special type of software, it is possible to trick Google into thinking certain elements on a page are legitimate. For example, a search results page could include a number of different graphical elements on a web page, when they are all unrelated. The algorithm is designed to look at each of these elements and determine if it's relevant for its current ranking.

Naturally, this algorithm is not 100% effective. Algorithms are designed to be fair, but they sometimes get it wrong. As such, there are several methods and techniques which can be used to try and manipulate Google's algorithm in order to see your site appear higher in their search results. Obviously, this isn't a method which works for all websites, but there are some that work better than others.

To use one of these techniques, it's important to understand what the aim of the strategy is. Essentially, any website trying to manipulate Google's search engine results by fooling it into thinking certain elements are valid, will ultimately end up with Google terminating their account. The major problem is that most people don't have the time or skills to know how to make their websites 'glitch-free'. For this reason, it's important to consider using a company who will create a custom website design specifically for this purpose.

When a company such as this takes over your website from you, it's important to ensure your site is optimised to make sure it receives the maximum search engine traffic possible. One way many people choose to achieve this is by creating titles which are very relevant to the keywords that Google is targeting. If a title is highly relevant, Google will pick it up as a 'quality' link and will consequently increase your ranking. To find a company that offers this service, just do a standard internet search and you'll find a large number of them. We find that we generally recommend using the services of a company called Internet Business Pro, as they provide such high quality search engine optimisation for small business websites.
