How To Keep Your Important And Personal Photos Awayfrom Icloud

Indeed, iCloud storage is the best and safest online storage to store important files, photos,
videos, and passwords. Choosing iCloud to store photos is an individual choice, but accessing
the account is not challenging if the user has the email and password. Storing photos and files
on iCloud means, you’re uploading them on the internet, which is never totally safe.
Now, if you’re using an iPhone with iOS 14 or above, you can stop uploading photos to iCloud if
you’re not comfortable. You can turn off the Photos sync feature on iCloud, and here’s how you
can do it.
Turn Off the iCloud Photos
If you keep iCloud sync turned on, it will upload or sync every photo from your iPhone to the
iCloud server. So if you log in to your iCloud on other devices, it syncs all those saved photos to
those new accounts, which can go wrong. Every personal photo and the vital file will sync to the
device in which your iCloud account is logged in. So if you want this to happen, you have to turn
this off manually. So let’s get started:
Open Settings.
...
... Click on the Apple ID section.
Click the iCloud option.
Press Photos.
Toggle On/Off iCloud. Turning off iCloud will stop syncing photos to the iCloud server.
In case you wish to sync your photos to iCloud, you’ll have to follow the same steps and turn on
the iCloud.
Turn Off My Photo Stream
Indeed, My Photo Stream is replaced by iCloud Photos, but this feature is still there available.
So if you’re still connected with this feature and concerned about the data in it related to your
business files and private pictures, you can turn it off.
Open Settings.
Click on the Apple ID section.
Click iCloud.
Click Photos.
Turn On/Off the My Photo Stream option.
By following the same steps, you can turn on the My Photo Stream back again.
Clear Local Backup Data
Well, whatever data you have on your iPhone device, you can keep a copy of it or take a
complete backup of your data using the iTunes app on your Mac or Windows. If you already
know about iTunes backup and have taken multiple backups of your device, which contains
important files and personal photos, just clear it for good.
If you don’t prefer to keep backup of your photos, but if you have taken it in the past, so it’s
time to delete it from your computer. Anyone who can access that computer can connect their
smartphone with it and restore your data on their device. So if you’re curious about the privacy
and protection of your photos, delete the backup.
Conclusion
Apple iCloud service doesn’t just offer 5GB of free cloud storage, but it is the feature that can
help users to find their lost iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The majority of people rely on iCloud because
it has secured cloud storage and can keep the device secured even if it falls into the wrong
hands.
