Few Themed Parties Every Kid Needs To Have!
We all want to make our kid’s birthday as memorable and enjoyable for them as possible. And so we organize parties, invite friends and family over, get some food and play some games. Simple enough right? Maybe too simple. Nowadays, just a simple party doesn’t cut it, so what’s the next best thing you can do to amp those parties up? Add a theme to it!
You obviously know what your kid loves, could be any tv show, any game, any fairy-tale or comic. It is best to have your themes around those kinds of things, the ones you kid’s bound to love and enjoy.
The most popular themes that you can gain some inspiration from are -
Sports themed
This one’s usually for the boys, but even the girls can join in if they’re into it. Pick a sport your kid loves playing, and you can theme your parties around it. For example, if your kid loves football, have a football jersey dress code. Have games around the sport, could be trivia or the actual game itself. You can even take it to the next level by booking and organizing a football match on a turf ground as one of the birthday party venues. And then after the ...
... match, take both teams out for a delicious party feast to restore their energies. Also, do not forget the football-themed cake.
Medieval/Fairy-tale themed
How often have your kids imagined slaying a dragon with a sword, or dressing up like a princess to attend a ball? Make those imaginations a reality for them by having medieval or fairy-tale themed parties. Dress code is something you’ll need to plan, will it be armour or beautiful dresses. Decorate your homes to match the theme, and also have games accordingly. For the finale, Daddy or Mommy could dress up as a dragon or princess respectively, to join in on the party and make the day even more memorable.
Food themed
This one’s easy, pick your kids’ favourite food and revolve the theme around that. For instance, who doesn’t love a pizza themed birthday party! Take your kid and their friends to a pizza place, or order them at home, and let them devour every slice of pizza right in front of your eyes. It’s the one day you can let them loose, allowing them to have all the deliciously unhealthy food they want. A pizza theme party can be done in tandem with any other theme as well
Disco themed
Does your kid love to groove? Then a disco-themed party sounds perfect for them. You can either plan the day out, by organizing dance competitions or have an instructor create a routine for them to perform on the day. Or, you could put on some great music and just let the kids take over from there. Things might get a little wild, but it’s good to let them loose once in a while. And always remember to have a feast ready for them once they’re exhausted from all the dancing, as they’re going to need it.
