"The Little Prince II. The Return of the Little Prince", is a work inspired and based on The Little Prince by Saint-Exupéry. The author, Magui Lafleur, tried to follow the idea and the philosophical line of Saint-Exupéry.
From the drawing of the boa that ate an elephant, emerge the new Little Prince with new and nice and funy stories and adventures for all age people.
The Little Prince II starts a journey through the Universe of the infinite space and time that harbor temporary civilizations. He visits planets inhabited by groups of ‘big persons’ representing different parts of the cosmos. In his journey throughout the Universe he discover worlds plenty of contractions and fallacies that he faces with a touch of humor.
A young sailor sets out on a solo voyage around the world with his sailboat. During the trip he is surprised by a storm that breaks the mast of his sailboat and sets him adrift. He finally arrives at an unknown lonely island where he plans to repair his sailboat. In the meantime he explores the island where he stays enjoying the scenery and the exuberant landscape. One night, sitting on ...
... top of the highest peak of a mountain on the island, soddenly the Little Prince II appears to him and he strikes up an intimate friendship with him. The Little Prince II ask him to draw a rabbit and write down his stories and adventures that he has throughout his journey in the Universe.
The Little Prince II contains ten illustrated chapters with more than 15 mini stories and short stories with touches of humor that will make you to meditate, thinking and reflecting on events that occur daily in our environment.
Despite this book was conceived for teen and young adult, it can be read and enjoyed by people of all ages. Also this book could be useful for interesting and introducing little persons in the science and its learning as well in the philosophical thinking.
This book was writing also in French and Spanish by Magui Lafleur. In the English version, the author used the word ‘big persons’ and not adult, grown ups or big people because Saint-Exupéry in “Le Petit Prince” (The Little Prince) used “grandes persones” and not adultes o grands gens.
