Nearly 70 to 80% of the body’s toxins are eliminated through exhalation. Meditative breathing does this for you.

Our brain is a habit-forming organ. Large clusters of neurons have gotten wired together during painful experiences of our early years. Meditation helps these addictive neural connections to detach from each other, which means you become free of old emotional habits.

As human beings, we have the peculiar habit of converting external pressure into internal stress. Increasing stress means more than healthy doses of cortisol coursing through our bodies. Meditation calms the rush of adrenaline, cortisol and other stress-related chemicals in our body.

Meditation impacts us physically, chemically, neurologically and emotionally.

I could go on giving you reason upon reason as to why you should meditate.

Meditation is an ancient science. While people may pursue meditation for numerous reasons, to us it is a path to move away from stressful states of mind, to beautiful states of being.

The meditations that my husband Krishnaji and I teach at O&O Academy are easy and powerful, ...
... scientific and spiritual, yogic and universal.

To truly understand how our meditations work, you need to understand “The Transformation Triad” of Breath-Mind-Consciousness. To have an insight into the nature and connection of the three elements of the transformation triad is to go beyond helplessness to calm, clarity and connection. Most meditations out there use only one or two of these three elements. We use an approach that integrates all three.

Each of the 3 can act as a tool to shift the other two elements.

Let us say you are experiencing angry thoughts and are not able to free yourself using the mind itself. Working your way through breath could be a path. This is breath impacting the mind. So you may start with breath-based practices.

Let us say you are gripped by anxiety, your breath would be erratic and short. And the more your breath is out of harmony, your anxiety would go out of charts. As you move into a meditative observation of your anxiety, you would notice your breath become easy, slow and even. Your entire body moves away from stress into deep relaxation. This is the mind impacting your breath and your body. If you are open to it, you may begin with observation-based practices.

By the same token, when your consciousness transforms and you experience a beautiful state of connection with nature, with your purpose, with your loved ones or the world around you, the arising of anger, fear or sadness itself is minimized. This is consciousness impacting the mind.

Here is something I would want you to remember.

Relax your body through meditation - it heals.

Observe your mind in meditation– it calms.

Awaken to an experience of connection beyond the self, in consciousness - you become liberated.

Soulsync is a master practice we have created that is easy for the beginners as well as seasoned meditators. It will progressively lead you into the relaxation of the body, calming of the mind and expansion in consciousness.

I would suggest you to take a plunge instead of analyzing the experience of how it would be to get into the water. There is no way of knowing a thing until you immerse in it.
