IELTS Training in Hyderabad

IELTS exam is conducted to examine the language proficiency of the candidates pursuing to study or work abroad. The exam is conducted under two modules- Academic and General. Academic exam is for the candidates who want to study abroad and General exam is for those who want to work abroad.

All leading Universities in USA ,UK, Canada and Australia ask for IELTS/TOEFL exam scores as part of their mandatory application process for admission. IELTS is recognised by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA.

It is developed by Cambridge University of the world’s leading experts in language assessment and evaluates all of the English skills Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. Over 140 countries offer the test with 10,000 Organisations Accept IELTS.

IELTS is jointly owned and conducted by, British Council and IDP.

There are two Types of IELTS:
IELTS Academic: For Higher Education.

IELTS General : For Immigration/Permanent residence

IELTS General Training is required for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. The test features everyday English language skills that you will need in social and workplace environments

The exam includes four sections, or “papers,” on reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The speaking and listening sections on the general training test are the same as the analogous sections of the IELTS academic test, but the general training test does include unique reading and writing sections.

Listening 40 minutes:
Test takers are given a scenario on computer/paper, and have to listen to a conversation regarding to the given scenario and write /type down the appropriate answers. You will listen to four different recordings of native English speakers and then write your answers to a series of questions. The test takes approximately 30 minutes and additional 10 minutes transfer time.

You only hear the audio once and a variety of voices and native-speaker accents are used. A variety of question types are used, including multiple choice, form completion, note completion, summary completion, sentence completion, and short-answer questions. You will hear conversations and monologues, with topics ranging from the everyday social to the academic. Test takers for IELTS Academic and IELTS General both do the same listening test

Reading 60 minutes:
The Reading section consists of 40 questions, designed to test a wide range of reading skills. Candidates are given a random extract paragraph from a book/journal etc and have to recreate the paragraphs in right sequence/order.

Texts are taken from books, journals, magazines and newspapers, and have been written for a non-specialist audience.

All the topics are of general interest. They deal with issues which are interesting, recognisably appropriate and accessible to test takers entering undergraduate or postgraduate courses or seeking professional registration.

Writing 60 minutes:
This section is your main scoring category, one is letter writing and another an essay. Prove your mettle and showcase your writing skills. Topics are of general interest to, and suitable for, test takers entering undergraduate and postgraduate studies or seeking professional registration. There are two tasks:

Task 1 – you will be presented with a graph, table, chart or diagram and asked to describe, summarise or explain the information in your own words. You may be asked to describe and explain data, describe the stages of a process, how something works or describe an object or event.
Task 2 – you will be asked to write an essay in response to a point of view, argument or problem. Responses to both tasks must be in a formal style.

Speaking 14 minutes:
Face to face interview scenario between test takers and examiner, where test takers need to strike conversation with the expert, and should be able to answer whatever the expert asks them randomly.

There are three parts to the test and each part fulfils a specific function in terms of interaction pattern, task input and test takers output.
