Drip irrigation technique was invented in the early 60s in Israel. They addressed it as “underground irrigation”. The reason to develop such a technique was not commercial at all.
It was something that was free, much bigger, and was situated near a leaking tap in the backyard. Later on, the use of drip irrigation has proven to save water, energy and labour also. But the initial concept was to grow bigger and better plants.
This type of irrigation method was also known as underground irrigation and drop irrigation, and works as the name implies. Drop by drop, water is deployed to the active root zone of the plants. This technique, if handled properly, may be the most effective way of irrigation, as evaporation and runoff lessened considerably. Modern agriculture, is often incorporated with plastic sheet, further lessening evaporation, and is also a technique of delivering fertilizers to the plants. This procedure is known as fertigation.
Percolation is something where water moves below the active root zone, may happen if the garden irrigation ...

Drip irrigation systems vary from sophisticated and computer controlled ones to easy low-tech with the involvement of intensive labour. Relatively low pressures are necessary for most types of micro irrigation systems. System can be planned with uniformity within the field or for precise water conduction to separate plants in a field having a blend of plant types.
Although it is complicated to regulate water on the steep slopes, pressure compensating emitters are available. Hence drip system can manage unlevelled fields also. Water pressure filtration and regulation to remove the particles are aboriginal in any kind of drip irrigation system. The tubes of this system are generally black, nonetheless, there are also blue, brown and also white tubes. Some of the drip tubes are buried under the soil to prevent the growth of algae and to prevent the PE from degradation due to UV radiation. Sometimes a dripping procedure may also be a porous clay vessel inserted within the soil and periodically filled from a watering can or hose. Successful growers across the world utilize drip systems to irrigate almost any intensive plant or crop.
Modern garden irrigation technology known as hydro-pc, ensure a wide and effective labyrinth leading the water into a flow control cell, where a special type of diaphragm compensate the stream, and keeps a stable flow rate of changeable inlet pressures. IG hydropc drip like is extremely resistant to clogging. The dripper inlet filter, located near the tube centre, ensures an incredible and constant flushing treatment. The relatively small diameter of the dripperline has better irrigation effectiveness, less retained water in the system and thereby causing a shorter refilling with less redundant drainage water, on sloppy terrains, no extra water wetting in the lower parts of the field.
