These days, it can penetrate almost every inch of your body. Shallow piercings allow you to pierce flat areas of skin that seem unable to pierce, such as the hips or chest.

One such piercing that is gaining popularity is the drilling of the bridge.

Bridge piercing occurs laterally across the bridge of the nose, usually between the eyes. Although it appears to pierce the bone, it only pierces the skin, which makes this piercing look rough and is actually quite easy.

Like all surface drilling, bridge drilling has advanced rejection risks and is probably not a permanent fixation.

Here is everything you need to know about drilling a bridge.
How Much Do Bridge Holes Damage?
A bridge piercing goes through the body at the bridge of the nose, and since there aren't many nerve endings in that area, it shouldn't hurt much. The piercer pinches the skin and pushes the needle up to complete the procedure.

Transverse lobe puncture healing process.
This piercing takes 8 to 12 weeks to heal, but it may take longer to heal internally. Recovery times are highly dependent on your aftercare practices.

Aftercare ...
... rules
A bridge hole may seem like it requires a lot of aftercare regimen, but superficial piercings heal similar to any other piercing.

Clean the piercing 2-3 times a day with a saline gauze. The location of the bridge makes it difficult to perform a proper salt bath, so you will need to wear a bandage. Soak a clean paper towel in saline solution and keep it in place for 3-5 minutes. This will expel the fistula (puncture hole) of debris and kill any harmful bacteria.

Be careful not to spoil the jewelry. This is especially important if you wear glasses or sunglasses. When placing the bridge piercing, make sure it does not interfere with the bridge of your glasses, and be careful when removing or wearing it while it heals.

No makeup or facial products near jewelry. These chemicals contain chemicals that irritate the skin and contribute to infection and rejection.

Beware of rejection. It is difficult to penetrate the bridge of the nose deep enough to avoid rejection, so piercing rejection is common. If you see signs of rejection (red, scaly skin, growing piercings, move jewelry) remove them to avoid scarring.
