Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) https://www.edudictionary.com/indian-council-of-agricultural-research-icar-college-dehradun-uttarakhand/ is an autonomous body that is responsible for regulating agriculture education and research in India. ICAR provides accreditation to agricultural university, colleges, institutes, etc. Accreditation is like a badge of quality assurance but not any kind of recognition or approval to open an institute, university or college. BSc Agriculture is a four year undergraduate course which is one of the top choices among students.
