Difference of types:

Hajj is divided into three types but Umrah is divided into two types. Three types of Hajj are given below:

1. Hajj Qiran
2. Hajj Ifrad
3. Hajj Tamattu
On the other hand following two are the types of Umrah:
1. Umrah Tamattu
2. Umrah Mufraddah

Umrah Tamattu is carried out with Hajj and Umrah Mufraddah is performed alone.
