Indian Premier League is the most celebrated cricket festival in India. It is the most-attended cricket league in the world. Different teams represent different states or cities in India, which promotes a diverse culture of India.
After the 2020 IPL got delayed because of covid-19, it finally happened in September. All the matches were held in the UAE where the teams were taking all the safety measures and following all the strict protocols to help in the successful hosting of the cricket league. On 9 November, Mumbai Indians won their fifth IPL title. The player auction for IPL 2021 is likely to be held on 11th February 2021 but it is not confirmed by the BCCI. The IPL auction will telecast on the Star Sports Network or people can watch the live stream on Disney+ Hotstar. IPL 2021 will be a Mini Auction, not a Mega Auction. It is not decided when the IPL 2021 will start but the matches are likely to start by the 2nd week of April. The teams can trade the players internally capped and uncapped.
